SATs

Examination results

  • Primary schools in Lewisham are among the top performing schools in the country, and last year, children leaving primary schools in Lewisham achieved the fourth best results in the country.

Each year Primary Schools conduct two rounds of National Assessments, called SATs:

-Year 2 pupils are teacher assessed and given a National Curriculum Level. These assessments are externally moderated.

-Year 6 pupils sit their tests in May which are externally marked. The results are returned to the school by the end of the summer term and are included in the annual report.

The latest results show that our children continue to perform well compared with the national averages and for more details please click here for details of our latest Comparison Data 2013-2016
