It is never too early to teach children about e-Safety. We teach them to cross the road safely, to be safe in the sun, and not to talk to strangers. We should ensure we teach them how to stay safe online.
E-Safety is about teaching children how to use the Internet safely, not about restricting their use. There are many organisations which provide help concerning on-line safety, and we have listed a selection below. The National Crime Agency provides information on their website, which you can also access from their link below:
- Think U know
- CBBC Stay Safe
- Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre
- BBC Webwise
- Safer Internet. Org
- Digizen. Org
- Kidsmart. Org
- Childnet. Org
Remember to always be safe online. Here is a message from one of our pupils about e-Safety.
Parents/carers should be aware of the dangers of inconsiderate parking outside the school; our local roads are very busy and traffic enforcement officers do operate in this area. Please avoid driving your children to and from school and ask for details of our “Walking Bus” escort system.
